HelloCollo Organizing provides support for those experiencing a significant life transition or loss by holding space for grief during any stage of organizing; be it decluttering, sorting, discarding or implementation of a new system.
Why do we focus on GRIEF?
Grief is often misidentified by its effects such as Anxiety, Depression, Loss, & Isolation. These emotions show up in how we treat/relate to our belongings and the attachment we have to them; or what has belonged to those we have lost.
This is service with a soul.

Caroline was hugely helpful. I was completely overwhelmed by the cleanup and clean out of a studio apartment that had 60 years of accumulation. We were under a tight deadline because the resident was coming back from rehab and the space needed to be safe and habitable. Caroline dropped everything else and spent two entire days working with me. She had good systems for dealing with overwhelming spaces. She also had access to boxes, information about places to donate and provided trash bags and packing tape. She was truly full service. And she was very easy to work with. I am including some before and after photos.

Caroline was a delight (and a lifesaver) to work with. I had a great deal of materials and furniture for my classroom in need of organization when I returned from summer break. She helped me plan out the space logistically, taking into consideration my current routines/procedures for students and how to work within those parameters (while also offering new ideas that worked & flowed much better in my limited shared space). She also helped me organize the closet, from which my things will now be much more accessible. I could not have started the year this quickly and smoothly without her! She is amazing! I highly, highly recommend her.

Caroline assisted us with the clean out of an apartment after a relative passed away.
